2023 polls: APC wins Shiroro LGA with wide margin

#Nigeriadecides: The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu won the presidential election held on Saturday in Shiroro local government area of Niger State.

Tinubu, who has currently won no fewer than 18 out of the 25 local government areas in the state scored 18,954 votes, as against his closest rival, the PDP’s 9,967 votes in the same area.

According to the Collation Officer in the local government, Kasim Usman Isah, 37,474 votes were cast during Saturday’s exercise in the area, but 1,376 of those votes were rejected by the commission.
