The effort fell apart last Thursday when Netanyahu’s office released a “Proof of Life” video featuring an AI-generated Netanyahu avatar with six fingers on his right hand and missing teeth in his mouth during some of the video scenes.
On Sunday, the Prime Minister’s Office circulated a second “Proof of Life” video with an AI-generated Netanyahu avatar talking about current events. The video panned a cash register in the coffee shop where the Netanyahu avatar bought a cup of coffee. The monitor on the cash register showed a 2024 date for the purchased coffee.
