The management of Wikki Tourist Football club of Bauchi has apologized to Sports Writers over the recent misunderstanding between the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN and The club’s management.
A statement secretary of SWAN Bala Bawaji on Tuesday said the development followed a meeting between SWAN officials and management of the Club held on Tuesday in Bauchi, adding that sports writers could resume reporting of the club’s activities.
Secretary of the club, comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim said management was sorry over the poor treatment of sports writers during the club’s engagements, promising better working relationship.
It could be recalled that SWAN Bauchi boycotted reporting the activities of Wikki Tourist following poor treatment by management.
