“For the good and the greatest number of Nigerians, the Abuja Rail Mass Transit Metro will surely come back to life.”
ASHENEWS reports that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has reacted to the challenge from President Bola Tinubu to ensure the quick completion of the Abuja metro line.
This online platform recalls that Tinubu, at the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), in Abuja on Sunday, charged Wike to ensure the Abuja metro line is completed as soon as possible.
He told Wike that he must deliver on the project for the greater good of Nigerians, because he also wanted to ride on the metro line.
“I could see our chief host, the landlord of Abuja. Stick at it, I want to ride on your metro line.
“If I ask for free land, don’t give me, but deliver the metro line for the good and greatest number of Nigerians,” Tinubu said.
Taking to his X handle @GovWike on Sunday, Wike assured the President that the Abuja metro line would surely come back to life for the good of the people.
