ASHENEWS reports that Kebbi state government has assured all necessary support and cooperation to the Revenue Mobilization Allocation And Fiscal Commission, RMAFC in its Revenue generation monitoring exercise.
The state deputy governor, Umar Abubakar gave the assurance when he received officials of the commission led by Madu Aji Julani on a courtesy call in Birnin- Kebbi on Monday.
He directed ministries, departments and agencies to give the officials of the commission the necessary information they require to achieve the objective of their assignment.
Earlier, Julani said they were in Kebbi to monitor revenue generation information so as to ensure all revenue generated are accurately remitted into the federation account.
According to him, they would obtain relevant information on revenue generations as enshrined in the 1999 constitution.
He sought the support and cooperation of the state government to enable them carry out their assignment.
Present at the occasion were the Secretary to the State Government, Yakubu Bala Tafidan Yauri; Head of Service, Sufiyanu Garba Bena; Chief of Staff Government House, Barr. Attahiru Maccido, Commissioners and some local government chairmen, among others.
