ASHENEWS reports that the Niger state governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago on Monday, announced the appointment of 26 Special Advisers.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Bologi Ibrahim said that the new appointees bring the number of Special Advisers to 30 under the present administration.
“They are Mohammed Nma Kolo, Special Adviser on Political Matters; Mohammed Bello Mariga, Special Adviser on Legislative Matters; Manko Bagudu Special Adviser on Legal Matters/Government House Counsel; Mohammed Nda, Special Adviser on Economic Matters; Isah Audu, Special Adviser on Public Service Matters; Adams Mohammed Erena, Special Adviser on Labour Matters; Dr. Isah Adamu, Special Adviser on Governance and Reform; Abdulmalik Usman Dakachi, Special Adviser on Traditional Institutions.
Others are; Kabiru Abbas, Special Adviser on Project Monitoring and Evaluation; Umar Sanda Abubakar, Special Adviser on Policy and Strategy; retired CP Yusuf Kolo, Special Adviser on Heinous Crime and Substance Abuse; Alqassim Abdulkhadir, Special Adviser on Inter-Governmental and Development Partners; Hauwa Bako Mohammed, Special Adviser on Social Investment Programme; Ndajiya Abdullahi Nma (Phd), Special Adviser on Solid Mineral/Bida Basin; Habila Daniel, Special Adviser on Ecological Matters.
Also on the list are; Mary Noel-Berje, Special Adviser on Women and Affirmative Action; Ibrahim Mohammed Panti, Special Adviser on Ward Development Programme; Mr. Goerge Dike, Special Adviser on Inter-Tribal Matters; Hannatu Salihu, Special Adviser on Girl Education Initiative; Mr. Jonathan Vatsa, Special Adviser on Public-Private-Partnership (PPP); Baba Ndaman, Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The governor, while congratulating the appointees charged them to give in their best and bring to bear their wealth of experience for the growth and development of the state.
