Kebbi State Governor,Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has appointed the Permanent Secretary Special Services Alhaji Safyanu Garba Bena, as acting Head of Civil Service ( HOS).
This is contained in a statement by the Spokesperson of the governor, Yahaya Sarki on Wednesday.
The appointment of the acting HOS followed the retirement of the immediate past Acting Head of Service, Hajiya Fatima Sani Ango , since last week.
Nigeria’s Constitution,1999, as Amended, has empowered the Governor to make such appointments from among Permanent Secretaries.
The SSG, Babale Umar made the announcement at a news briefing in Birnin Kebbi Wednesday.
Until his appointment, Bena was the Permanent Secretary, Special Services, Cabinet Office.
