The National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Daniel Bwala has resigned from the party.
Tinubu on Sunday, announced Senator Kashim Shettima, former Governor of Borno State as vice presidential candidate of the party.
However, Bwala, in protest to Tinubu’s choice to produce a Muslim-Muslim ticket, announced his resignation from the party via his Twitter handle @BwalaDaniel on Sunday evening.
“Tonight I officially resigned my membership of @OfficialAPCNg on principles and conviction that I hold so dear. At this time of our national existence, our efforts and our energy should gravitate towards uniting our people,” he tweeted.
