ASHENEWS reports that the Niger State Government has commended Nigerlites for their continued support to the present administration in the state.
The Secretary to the Niger State government, Abubakar Usman stated this on the sidelines of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in the state.
The SSG who assured residents of the state government’s resolve to transform the state congratulated all Muslim residents in the State for a successful celebration.
The SSG prayed to Allah to grant an enduring peace to the State and the Nation also prayed to Him to accept their supplications.
He further prayed for the safe return of the farmer Governor and all Nigerlites on pilgrimage.
Also speaking to Journalists on their Sallah message, the former Nigeria Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and the Senator representing Niger East, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa described the season as a time to reflect on the blessings of Allah on humanity.
While praying for peace in the State in particular and Nigeria in general, they charged Nigerians to live peacefully with each other.
This online platform reports that the Secretary to the State Government earlier led top government officials in the State to perform the two-unit open-air congregational prayer amidst morning downpours.
The SSG was joined by the former Nigeria Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and the Emir of Minna, Umar Farouk Bahago at the Minna Eid prayer ground
The Deputy Chief Imam, Isah Jibrin who led the two-unit congregational prayer, encouraged all Muslims to remain steadfast in Allah and to celebrate in love with everyone around them.
