Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has declared Tuesday, April 13th as the 1st day of Ramadan 1442 AH, after sighting of new moon.
The Sultan’s declaration in a broadcast at his Palace Monday night, was premised on verified information about the sighting of the moon in parts of the country.
He has therefore directed all Muslims to commence the compulsory fast in the holy month.
