Two commercial bank buildings on Ademola Adetokunbo Street in Victoria Island, on Wednesday were gutted by fire.
ChannelsTV reports unconfirmed source say as claiming that a tanker with diesel was at the premises of one of the banks to discharge its product, when “explosion from a yet-to-be-identified source occurred, igniting a massive fire, which soon spread to a neighbouring bank’s building.”
The report further said that firefighters were currently battling to put out the blaze.
