The Borno State Commissioner for Finance, Ahmed Ali Ahmed has been found dead in his resident.
According to reports, the commissioner died on Monday morning, August 26, 2024.
The door to the deceased, who was said to have exceeded the time he usually comes out in the morning, was forced open where his corpse was found.
“Oga is no more, he died early this morning,” a source told Daily Trust.

Meanwhile, the Borno State Government has formally confirmed the Commissioner’s death.
A statement by the Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Professor Usman Tar, in Maiduguri said the burial is slated for 5:00 p.m. today at the family house of the late commissioner in Damboa Road behind Indimi’s residence.
