BREAKING: Biden emerges new U.S president – CNN

Biden, by the projection, becomes the 46^th president of the United State, and  his runningmate, Kamala Harris becomes the first woman and first person of colour to be elected as the nation’s vice president.

Biden had maintained an unassailable lead in four swing states of Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania.

He secured 284 Electoral College votes, ahead of the required 270, while President Donald Trump maintained 213 Electoral College Votes.
