According to him, the Police had conveyed the corpse to Minna General Hospital for autopsy, while investigation is in progress.

Usman added that the crack team had curbed the entire area to rescue the Nigerian victim and arrest the bandits.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Commissioner of Police, told news men that the Command received information on August 17 at 11.05pm, about the kidnap of the two staff of a Kano-based Transparent Construction Company, who were handling road rehabilitation project on behalf of the Federal Roads Management Agency, FERMA.

He also revealed that the company did not inform the Police of its presence in the area.
