Appointments: Buhari “planted his loyalists” to keep watch on Tinubu – Bwala

The spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign in the 2023 presidential election, Mr. Daniel Bwala has opined that President Muhammadu Buhari’s appointments two weeks to his leaving office, is suspicious, and “impossible for Tinubu to reverse them.”

Bwala, in a tweet on his Twitter handle @BwalaDaniel on Sunday, also accused Buhari for approving monies for spending even though “he would not be there to supervise.”

According to Bwala, Tinubu, knowing these intrigues, was why he told Buhari that “even if you run to far away Daura or Niger expect knocks at your door”.

Read the tweet below:

“The same president who hardly makes appointment on time, nor approve spending on time, within the last two weeks of this planned departure, made appointments of persons into statutory offices making it near impossible for Tinubu to reverse them.

“He also approved monies for spending for which he would not be there to supervise. Some say he did all of that because he didn’t trust Tinubu to manage the resources. Others said he did that to plant and keep his loyal people in government to protect his interests post office.

“Whichever way you view it, Tinubu and Buhari would clash at some point and who knows whether the statement “even if you run to far away Daura or Niger expect knocks at your door” were meant as a double edge sword, because Tinubu is known for speaking in parables.

“When Tinubu look for money to implement renewed hopelessness and cannot find, there would definitely be knock on a door whether it be in Kaduna, Daura or Niger. The days ahead would be interesting. Emilokan
