The 14th Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II has debunked writing an article, “2023: Bola Tinubu and the cost of Political Miscalculation”, supposedly targeted at Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant.
A statement by his Chief of Staff, Munir Sanusi on Wednesday, said the article “was not authored by His Highness, as is being widely attributed.
“This article has been circulating on WhatsApp groups for months and was written by a man named Sanusi Muhammad, who is unrelated to His Highness.
“Unfortunately, most people have misidentified the author’s name as His Highness. Consequently, given the need to set the records straight, we are stating for the benefit of those unaware that Khalifa has never been referred to as Sanusi Muhammad, but as HH Muhammad Sanusi II.
“We also take this opportunity to encourage readers to scrutinize the information they find online to identify false and misleading information purported to have come from eminent personalities and thought leaders.
“While we restate that we have no relationship with the author and the article itself in any way, we staunchly continue to place our faith and trust in Allah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala) to continue guiding His Highness as an elder statesman in his socio-economic Advocacy for all Nigerians, Africans and humanity in general,”the statement reads.
