A Sokoto based fertilizer company, Rahamaniyya Fertiliser Processing Company Limited is working towards improving and increasing the yield of vegetable crops for farmers through the use of its fertilizer.
The organization’s Head of Internal Controls, Bello Alade who spoke to ASHENEWS in an exclusive interview, said that its NPK 20:10:10 and NPK 15:15:15 fertilizers are made at the highest national standard as approved by the federal government and other regulatory agencies.
“Our products are duly certified by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the Federal Ministry of Environment, the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), and the Fertilizer Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN), among others.
“Our NPK 15:15:15 granule fertilizer can be used for vegetable crops like tomato, pepper, cucumber, watermelon, lettuce, kale, strawberry, okra, and eggplants.
“This fertilizer increases the yield of vegetable crops significantly. It also improves the quality of the fruits produced by the crops.
“Most importantly, the company is managed by a highly experienced and sound management team, including experts from Nigeria, India, and China, to ensure high-standard quality products,” he told ASHENEWS.
Bello further said that the company has a blending plant with a production capacity of 120 metric tonnes per hour and a total combined capacity of about one million metric tonnes per year. He described it as the largest in Northern Nigeria and the second largest in West Africa.
Rahamaniyya Fertiliser Processing Company Limited, fully owned by Nigerians, under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdulrahman Musa Bashir, was established and registered on September 18, 2020.
The factory is located in Asare Town, along Kalambaina-Wamakko Road, in the Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State and is one of the subsidiaries of the Rahamaniyya Group of Companies.
The Rahamaniyya Group of Companies also focuses on oil and gas and has interests in other diverse economic business, such as agriculture and its value chain as well as the production of other fast-moving consumer goods.
