Tech firm launches app for smart business solutions, diesel monitoring

Galooli Advanced Solutions Nigeria, a software and hardware solution company, has launched a mobile application that allows users to track, monitor and receive real-time analysis of their business operations.

The new mobile application came as an addition to its web and desktop applications, designed to help Nigerian businesses to access smarter solutions to reduce operational costs by blocking leakages.

The Chief Executive Officer, Galooli Advanced Solutions Ltd., Tamir Piatecka, stated this at the unveiling of the mobile solutions on Tuesday in Lagos.

Piatecka said that the introduction of the mobile application was to enhance access to business updates by providing real-time data analysis for business owners whenever or wherever they may be.

“Our goal is simple and in three folds. Power generation, Galooli’s smart solutions help manage the crisis of energy generation by monitoring efficiency.

“The price of diesel has skyrocketed, and Nigerian businesses are highly affected because the majority of businesses run on generators.

“The app allows you to track your power-generating systems, while on or away from your location, and determine the exact amount of diesel supplied, consumed, or stolen,” he said.

He said that they realised that owners wanted to know what goes on with their vehicles, in terms of fuel consumption and monitor driver behaviour, adding that their company could provide such information.

Piatecka said that Galooli systems also helped in preventing battery theft and monitoring battery health.

Also speaking, Michael Enebeli, Director of Sales, and Business Development, Galooli Nigeria, noted that the idea behind the solution was not just to operate businesses as usual but to reduce operational costs on the power, fleet and battery.

He said: “We have an energy crisis in Nigeria which has made most people run back-up power supply either from generating sets or battery-powered inverters.

“The main source of operational cost leakages from generator sets is from diesel supply. When you buy diesel for instance, how sure are you that the amount you request is what you get without monitoring your suppliers.

“With Galooli Solutions, at the click of a button using the app, wherever you are you can get notifications of exactly how much was supplied. At the same time, you can monitor consumption and usage,” he said.

Enebeli said that the same solution applied to the fleet, noting that it tracks and analyses the driver behaviour and fuel consumption.

“It helps fleet owners confirm that the quantity of fuel the driver claimed for a particular journey is indeed the reality.

“These solutions also help in carbon footprint measurement, which is ultimately better for the environment we live in,” he said.
