Niger State Governor and Chairman North Central Governors Forum, Abubakar Sani Bello has condoled the government and people of Nasarawa state, over the sudden death of the All Progressives Congress, APC, State Chairman, Mr Philip Tattari Shekwo.
This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Niger State, Mary Noel-Berje made available to AsheNews on Monday.
Governor Sani Bello who in a condolence message expressed shock over the unfortunate incident, described the deceased as a peaceful, committed and dedicated party Leader.
He said “this is most unfortunate but God is not unaware and yet He allowed it for a purpose,May God comfort the immediate family, the APC members and the entire people of Nasarawa State”.
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello also prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The deceased was said to have been kidnapped late Saturday from his residence and by Sunday morning, his corpse was said to have been found few metres away from his residence.
Until his death, Mr Philip Tattari Shekwo was the Nasarawa State APC Chairman.
