The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are currently conducting a search operation at the Lagos head office of the Dangote Group.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson of the EFCC, Dele Oyewale said they are conducting a search on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele as Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria.
A source at the Dangote head office said the operatives are asking for documents on foreign exchange transactions with the CBN.
