Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State says the state, in collaboration with Silvex International, a leading rice processing company, will launch the Nasarawa State branded rice on Dec. 17. The Abia State Deaf Association (ABSDA) on Monday, urged the state government to include sign language as a compulsory subject at all levels of education in the state. The association made this known in Umuahia, during a rally and advocacy, held as part of activities to mark its Deaf Awareness Week 2025. The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) project has begun its pre-midterm review to assess progress since its implementation across the 19 participating states in Nigeria.
