The Nigerian IT start-up environment is capable of generating $3 billion annually, the Director-General of the Nigeria Information and Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Abdullahi, has said. The NITDA helmsman who disclosed this in an interview noted that the development translates to $30 billion revenue generation by 2030. Adamawa state has recorded 60 suspected Cholera cases in the state, according to the Coordinator, Cholera Containment Committee in the state, Dr Selin La’ori. La’ori, who disclosed this at the Primary Healthcare Development Agency stakeholders’ meeting held on Sunday, in Yola, added that the meeting was to map out strategies to contain the spread of the disease. The Nigerian military has so far received about 1,500 commanders and members of ISWAP-Boko Haram in a massive surrender orchestrated by a special intelligence-driven operation by the Army. A video clip obtained by PRNigeria shows mass of unidentified repentant terrorists, their family members comprising women and children, filing out (in a straight line) from dense vegetation. Dr Matshidiso Moeti, World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Director for Africa, has said that the Ministry of Health of Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday confirmed the country’s first Ebola case since 1994. Moeti advised that while pushing governments to concentrate on the COVID-19 response, they should also improve their preparedness for possible Ebola cases.
