The Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso, has inaugurated the Delta South Senatorial candidate’s campaign office in Warri ahead of the 2023 general elections. Kwankwaso who arrived in Warri on Saturday to inaugurate the campaign office, solicited support for retired Commodore Omatseye Nesiama, the party’s Delta South Senatorial candidate. The Sokoto state Ministry for Women and Children Affairs is to partner with the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA) in the area of skills acquisition. The Commissioner, Kulu Sifawa made this known when POWA executives, led by the state chairperson, Aishatu Mohammed Gumel paid courtesy visit to the ministry in Thursday. According to Sifawa, the state government is ready to partner with POWA in line with the ministry’s mandate of women development and empowerment. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed two persons dead and six others injured in three separate car crashes that occurred along Gombe by-pass towards Pantami community on Friday. The National Pension Commission (PenCom) said that the highest paid official of the commission earns less than N1million a month, an official has disclosed. The Head, Corporate Communications of PenCom, Mr Abdulqadir Dahiru made the statement available to newsmen on Saturday in Abuja. The Kano state Police Command, has confirmed the alleged murder of one Miss Ummukulthum Sani of Janbulo quarters in Kano by one Mr Gheng Quanrong, a Chinese national based in the state on Friday evening.
