Edo state government in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) has equipped 445 Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state with digital marketing skills. The programme was organized by the Edo Skills Development Agency (Edojobs), Edo State Investment Office (ESIPO) in collaboration with the State Ministry of Wealth Creation, Cooperatives and Employment. The marketing programme was supported by GIZ through its Pro-poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria Programme (SEDIN). The NCDC said this on its website on Tuesday morning, adding that two fatalities were recorded on Monday. Lagos State did not report to the agency the COVID-19 cases it recorded on Monday. The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) says the value of the country’s green bonds market has grown to N55.52 billion in four years, from 2017 to 2021. The Chief Executive Officer, NGX, Mr Temi Popoola, said this during the Sustainable Finance Training 2021 hosted by the NGX in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) on Monday in Lagos. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday said ultimately, the onus of having a new electoral framework ahead of the 2023 general elections resides with the National Assembly and the Presidency. The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari has  attributed the high price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the rising price of crude oil and its derivatives at the world market. Kyari stated this at the inauguration of the Emadeb Energy Services Limited’s 120MT LPG Storage and Bottling Plant in Abuja.
