The Senate has passed 2022 Appropriation Bill of N17.126 trillion. This followed the adoption of the recommendations of the report of its Committee on Appropriations at plenary on Wednesday. The Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) has called on the National Assembly, NASS, to immediately remove the provisions on direct primaries as raised by President Muhammad Buhari. The the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd has disclosed that its downstream subsidiary, the Petroleum Products Marketing Company (PPMC) made sales in July 2021 to the tune of total sum of ₦203.73 billion.
