The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s, letter that the party fell short of the law in its notification to the election umpire, to monitor its forthcoming national convention. The Nigerian Navy on Friday deployed 10 warships and two helicopters in a joint multinational maritime exercise comprising 31 other foreign navies. The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, inaugurated the exercise tagged: “Obangame Express 2022” in Onne, Eleme local government area of Rivers. Gambo said the exercise was aimed at improving security in the Gulf of Guinea (GoG) and boost synergy with navies within the regional block and allied countries. In its move to #BreakTheBias, Access Bank Plc says its year 2022 financial is aimed at giving out N100 billion loans to women-led businesses.
