Marie Stopes International (MSI) Nigeria Reproductive Choices, an NGO, has equipped 68 healthcare centres with Family Planning (FP) equipment to enhance services in Sokoto State. The MSI’s Northwest Regional Manager, Mrs Suwaiba Abubakar, disclosed this at the dissemination meeting of Women Integrated Services for Health (WISH) extension on Friday in Sokoto. Nigeria’s public debt stock as at Dec. 31, 2023, was N97. 341 trillion (108.229 billion dollars), according to data released by the Debt Management Office (DMO) on Friday in Abuja. The DMO said that the amount comprised domestic and external debt stocks of the Federal Government, the 36 state governments and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The Federal Government and the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), on Friday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance oncology care in the country. The Lagos State Catfish and Allied Farmers Association of Nigeria (LASCAFAN) has decried incessant increases in the prices of inputs and raw materials for fish farming. The LASCAFAN President, Mr Sejiro Oke-Tojinu, decried the situation in an interview on Friday in Lagos. A tonne of maize, a major component of fish feed, now costs N600,000.
