The domestic bourse on Thursday maintained a positive trend as the value of transactions on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. (NGX) advanced by 14.04 per cent. Specifically, investors traded a total of 309.71 million shares valued at N5.44 billion exchanged in 7,035 deals, in contrast to 518.95 million shares valued at N4.77 billion, in 7,781 deals exchanged on Wednesday. The Defence Headquarters has said that troops have killed not more than 640 terrorists, arrested 1,051 suspects and rescued 563 kidnapped hostages in the month of May.
