President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has chosen Mrs. Omotenioye Majekodunmi as the new head (Director-General) of the National Council on Climate Change. She replaces Dr. Nkiruka Madueke, who was the second DG to lead the Council after the pioneer Salisu Dahiri. Dr. Madueke started the role in June 2024 and helped set up the organization.
