President Muhammadu Buhari has called for a renewed global action to decisively address the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the African region and eliminate the disease by 2030. The Kebbi State Police Command on Monday confirmed the killing of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), eight other policemen and two ‘Yan Sa-Kai operatives during a gun duel with suspected bandits in Sakaba Local Government Areas of the state. The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has published an updated list of International Money Transfer Operators (IMTOs) approved for Diaspora Remittances in the country as at April 1, totalling 57. The updated list was published by the apex bank via its official website on Monday. Among the IMTOs listed are: Aftab Currency Exchange Ltd, Nigerian Postal Service, Ria Financial, PayPal Inc,  Western Union, Swift Payment Ltd and Worldremit Ltd. Gunmen on Sunday morning attacked a church in Manini village, along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road of Chukun local government area of Kaduna state. The gunmen attacked the church in large number, shooting sporadically, killed one Church member and abducted many other. A total of 73 million industrial equipment items were connected by industrial internet platforms in China by the end of March 2021, official data showed. According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Sunday, the number of industrial APPs exceeded 590,000 by the end of March. Firms put the digitalisation rate in key processes at 52.1 per cent, and the penetration rate of digital tools for research and development at 73 per cent. Abayomi made the disclosure in a statement on Sunday in Lagos in celebration of the 2021 World Malaria Day.
