The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, sought an order of a Federal High Court, Abuja, to play video evidence in the ongoing trial of Andrew Yakubu, former Group Managing Director (GMD), Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) says it has arrested a couple for allegedly swindling unsuspecting victims to the tune of N935 million. The EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren disclosed this in a statement in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, adding that the suspects allegedly operated a Ponzi scheme. Zenith Bank Plc has retained its position at the number one bank in Nigeria by Tier-1 capital in the 2021 Top 1,000 World Banks ranking published by the Banker Magazine.
