Many people are still trapped in a collapsed building on Borno Street in Alagomeji, Lagos. The three-storey property collapsed around 8:30 p.m. on Friday. According to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the building, which was under construction, came down on Friday night at 333 Borno Street, Alagomeji, Yaba. The World Health Organisation (WHO) says cholera continues to claim more lives globally, with 2024 marking the second consecutive year of rising cases and deaths.
