ASHENEWS reports that a new General Manager has been appointed for the Alu Yagode FM in Sokoto. Hayatu Dallatu is a former Sokoto state correspondent of the Voice of Nigeria Hausa service. Before his recent appointment, which is with immediate effect, Dallatu was the Commercial Manager of the same Alu Yagode FM station. Alu Yagode FM station and Television is one of the six FM stations, including Vision FM, Garkuwa Radio, Caliphate FM, Royal FM, Rima Radio/FM, approved by the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) for operation. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has denied claims that its warehouse in Abuja was looted by some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday morning.
