The Federal Government has released the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) results for admissions into JSS1 of the Federal Unity Colleges. The Minister of State for Education, Dr Yusuf Sununu, who announced the results at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday, said one candidate scored the highest mark of 203 in the examination. Kano state governor, Abba Yusuf on Tuesday, signed the State Emirate Council Establishment Bill 2024 into law, a move expected to preserve the cultural heritage of the state. The Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (alias Igboho) has issued a fresh warning to all Fulani herdsmen suspected to be involved in several killings and abductions of residents in Oyo state. The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Sokoto/Zamfara states, sitting in Sokoto, has nullified the election of Umar Yusuf Danmaje, a member of the National Assembly representing the Yabo/Shagari federal constituency. He was elected under the People Democratic Party (PDP). In a unanimous judgment delivered on Monday, the three-member panel of judges, led by Justice Ashu A.
