ASHENEWS reports that Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commenced the disbursement of N260 million as part of the second batch of a women empowerment initiative. This initiative targets beneficiaries across all 44 local government areas of the state, with 5,200 women receiving N50,000 each. Bandits have released the two abducted Kaduna journalists, Abdulgafar Alabelewe, and Abduraheem Aodu and their families, who were kidnapped last week Saturday.
