The Senate on Tuesday received a request from President Muhammadu Buhari for the confirmation of eight Justices of the Court of Appeal as Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, FMARD, on Tuesday says about $1.5 billion worth of dairy products is imported yearly into the country. The ministry says that the huge bill is because of the long neglect of the livestock sector that has put a lot of burden on the import bills of the country. A former staff of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Oreoluwa Adesakin was on Monday, handed a cumulative 98 years in prison by Justice Muniru Olagunju of the Oyo State High Court for fraud.
