Governor of Kebbi, Abubakar Atiku-Bagudu on Monday, laid the foundation for the first FIFA mini stadium in Birnin Kebbi. Constructed through the FIFA/NFF Goal Project, the stadium is of 267 seats capacity and can be expanded to accommodate 6,000 fans. Contract for the stadium construction, expected to be completed in six months, was awarded to ARON Nigeria Ltd at the cost of $1.19 million.
