An explosion resulting from collision by two Petroleum tankers have killed six persons in Lapai of Lapai local government area of Niger state. The Director-General of the State Emergency Management Agency, Ahmed Inga who confirmed to ChannelsTV, said the incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday when two tankers collided before exploding in the state. Nigeria’s tally of people infected with the COVID-19 COVID-19 pandemic has hit 61,558, with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), confirming 118 new cases on Monday. Thec infections were recorded in nine states and the Federal Capital Territory.  The NCDC, which disclosed this via its official Twitter handle, also announced the discharge of 86 patients from isolation centres in the country.
