Chief Olisa Metu, former national publicity secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says his recent experience in detention has taught him a ‘great lesson’. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 11 deaths and 655 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 153,842. The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday. The centre also reported 11 COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total fatality in the country to 1,885.
