A healthcare worker in Australia’s Queensland was hospitalised with a severe adverse reaction after receiving a dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, local news reported on Thursday.The person was transported to the ICU with an anaphylactic reaction after getting a Pfizer vaccine shot at Gold Coast University Hospital, the 9News broadcaster said. South Korea is investigating three more deaths following inoculation with AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine, the Korea Agency for Disease Control and Prevention (KDCA) said on Thursday. AstraZeneca said on Wednesday that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District decided in favour of the company in litigation against Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc and Kindeva Drug Delivery LP. It determined that asserted claims in three of AstraZeneca’s patents protecting Symbicort in the U.S were not invalid.
