The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) on Tuesday shut down activities at the Imo House of Assembly over non implementation of financial autonomy for state legislature. The workers sealed all entrance to the complex, barring staff and legislators from entry. The Publisher of Daily Nigerian, Jaafar Jaafar has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammad Adamu against reported renewed threat to his life by governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state. AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine performed better than expected in a major late-stage trial potentially paving the way for its emergency authorisation in the U.S. and bolstering confidence after numerous setbacks in Europe.
