President Muhammadu Buhari has said that recent developments in the Nigerian fertiliser value chain is moving the country to becoming a regional and global fertiliser powerhouse. Buhari said this, on Thursday, during a virtual meeting with members of the Presidential Fertiliser Initiative (PFI) and the Fertiliser Producers and Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN),  led by Mr Thomas Etuh. President Muhammadu Buhari, has commended the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), saying that the mechanism was impacting effectively on the continent. A WASH NORM Report 2019 released by the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, says only six per cent persons have access to pipe borne water and seven percent of households that use communal water sources, pay water tariff in Sokoto state. Also, while 38 per cent of persons in the state have access to basic water supply services, 65% households drink water that is contaminated with E.coli in their various homes.
