Ms Deborah Tabara, Gender and GBV Analyst, UNFPA, Bauchi state office, made the call in Kaduna at the ongoing five-day training of trainers on MHPSS for GBVS amidst the COVID-19 and insecurity. Nestlé Nigeria Plc says it recorded revenue of N87.3 billion in its financial results for the first quarter of 2021, ending 31 March 2021. Australia’s medical regulator has linked five new cases of blood clotting to the AstraZeneca Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. John Skerritt, head of the Therapeutic Goods Administration, on Thursday announced that five recipients of the AstraZeneca vaccine had developed clotting and low platelets. A joint delegation of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA on Wednesday named Liberian President George Weah, as its first Ambassador of the newly-launched Pan-African Inter-School Championship. The championship was launched by South African billionaire and CAF president, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, on Tuesday in Abidjan but will become effective between 2022 and 2023, in collaboration with FIFA. Governor Abubakar Sani-Bello of Niger has announced minor cabinet reshuffle, dropping the commissioner for works, Ibrahim Panti in the process. A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Mary Noel-Berje on Wednesday said the Commissioner for Works, Panti was directed to hand over to the Commissioner for Planning, Mamman Musa, with immediate effect. He also directed the Commissioner of Finance, Zakari Abubakar to oversee the Ministry of Planning in addition to the finance ministry. The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination for External Candidates.
