The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has declared People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as winner of 32 out of the 33 councils in the local governments elections held in Oyo State on Saturday. The Lagos state government says it received a total of 74 applications for naturalisation on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Home Affairs within two years. The Commissioner for Home Affairs, Anofiu Elegushi said this in Ikeja on Sunday during the 2021 ministerial press briefing to commemorate the second year in office of governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
