The Methodist Church Nigeria (MCN) on Friday passed a vote of no confidence on its British counterpart, over the latter’s approval of same-sex marriage. The Nigeria variant of the church said this in a statement by its spokesperson, Rev. Oladapo Daramola, in Lagos. The World Bank estimates that the collapse of select ecosystem services provided by nature can result in a decline in global Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of $2.7 trillion annually by 2030. The bank, in a statement in Washington on Friday, said this was according to a newly published report, adding that Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia would suffer the most relative contraction of real GDP. The federal government says it is projecting N11.907 trillion appropriation for 2022 in which N900 billion will be spent for fuel subsidy.
