The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, has dismissed an appeal filed by Mr Edozie Njoku and Chinedu Okoro challenging the judgment of its Kano Division on August 10. The Kano Division’s judgment had affirmed Mr Victor Oye as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), which the Abuja Division said subsisted. Men of the Ondo State Command of the South-West Security Network, code-named, “Amotekun” have rescued nine of the 12 abducted Lagos-bound travellers by suspected gunmen in the state. The state Commander of Amotekun, Mr Adetunji Adeleye, told newsmen in Akure on Thursday that the victims were rescued after his men responded to a distress call from concerned citizens.
