Nigeria’s Debt Management Office, (DMO) has disclosed that the country’s total public debt (federal and state governments), has risen to N35.46 trillion at the end of the second quarter (Q2) of 2021. This represents an increase of N2.36 trillion from the N33.10 trillion recorded in March 2021. The Director-General, Patience Oniha made the disclosure of the second quarter during a virtual media presentation on Wednesday. The Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba has disclosed that the recruitment dispute between the Police Service Commission and the Police hierarchy, has been resolved. Baba disclosed this while addressing officers and men of the Police Command in Niger, at the command’s headquarters in Minna on Thursday.
