Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his leadership roles in Africa as well as stabilization of the West African sub-region. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has for the first time recommended a combination of drugs to prevent severe COVID-19 disease in infected high-risk patients. The WHO published its new recommendations in the British Medical Journal on Friday. The WHO referred to studies indicating a combination of casirivimab and imdevimab by the U.S. company Regeneron and the Swiss company Roche can improve patients’ chances of survival. By Abujah Racheal Nigeria recorded two COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday with additional 433 COVID-19 infections in 16 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday,  the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced. The NCDC made this known on Friday morning. The NCDC added that the 433  new cases of the coronavirus, brings the total number of infections in the country to 203,514.
