The National Universities Commission, NUC, on Monday, presented a certificate of recognition to the Shehu Shagari University of Education, SSUE, as the first discipline-based tertiary institution of its kind in the entire northern region of the country. The Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) on Saturday began a four-day free medical outreach targeting more than 10,000 beneficiaries in Niger. Terrorists have killed three persons in Anguwan-Toma, a community in Munya local government area of Niger state. Anguwan-Toma is 2km from Sarkin Pawa, the headquarters of Munya local government, and a route linking Niger state to Kaduna express road.
