ASHNEWS reports that the Plateau state governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has approved the following appointments of ace footballer, Mikel Obi, and musician, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI Abaga as Special Advisers on Sport and Entertainment/Creativity respectively.
Their appointments were contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Jos, Plateau State.
The governor also approved the appointment of Arc. Hart Bankat, General Manager for the Jos Metropolitan Development Board, Professor Christopher Sabo Yilgwan as the Chief Medical Director of the Plateau Specialist Hospital, Mr. Mathew Dawap, General Manager of the Plateau Mineral Development Company Ltd, and Mrs. Helen Dabup, Executive Secretary of the Local Government Service Pension Board.
Others included Samuel Gwott and Barr. Binchen Jangtur as General Manager and Secretary of the Plateau Express Service, Barr. Olivia Dazyem-Special Adviser on Gender and Chairperson Implementation Committee of the Gender & Equal Opportunities Commission and Prof. Ishaya Pam is the Honorary Adviser on Healthcare.
Also appointed was Mr. Ishaku Jilemsam, the Program Manager of the Plateau Agricultural Development Program.
Alex Chup, Chairman Teachers Service Commission, Mrs. Victoria Satu Jatau, Commissioner, Hon Cyril Longpuan, Commissioner 2, Sunday Samuel Amuna, Acting Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, Mrs. Chundung Shom, Full Time Member, Mr. Godwin Kasam, Full Time Member, and Tang’an P. Emmanuel, Secretary.
Newly appointed members of the Abuja Liaison Directorate included Eng. Danladi Mwantok, Ziphion Chrysantus, Pharm. John Chun, Mr. Nanyak Wuyep Kumsal, and Mr. Manji Wilson.
